Syed Rizwan Farook (June 14, 1987[3] – December 2, 2015) and Tashfeen Malik[a] (July 13, 1986[4] – December 2, 2015) were a Pakistani-American mass murder duo who were the two perpetrators of a terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, United States on December 2, 2015. In the attack, they killed 14 people and injured 22 others.[5][6][7] Both died in a shootout with law enforcement later that day.[8][9][10]
