Robert John Hummel (born March 8, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player and current TV commentator. He played college basketball for Purdue University and for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. In 2019, Hummel was named USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year. Since his retirement from professional basketball, Hummel has been an analyst for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports. Hummel is a regular contributor for Westwood One Sports and Sirius XM.
