Robert M. Toms (October 14, 1886 - April 7, 1960[2]) was an American jurist,[3][4] actor,[3] playwright,[3][2] composer,[3][2] and professor from Michigan. While on the bench in the Third Judicial Circuit, he is said to have tried about 40,000 cases.[3] He taught Constitutional law at Wayne State University.[3]
