Robert Pitcairn (26 June 1938 – 4 March 2022) was a Canadian athlete who competed in full bore shooting events. Raised in Summerside, PEI, he later settled in Chilliwack, BC. He was the oldest competitor to ever make their debut at a Commonwealth Games event. Pitcairn competed at the age of 79 years and 9 months on 9 April 2018.[1][2] He was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force and a retired commercial airline pilot.[3][4]
