Roberto Fiore (born 15 April 1959) is an Italian far-right politician and convicted criminal who has been the leader of the party, Forza Nuova, since its foundation in 1997, as well as president of the Alliance for Peace and Freedom since 2015. He briefly served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Central Italy from 2008 until 2009.
Fiore was convicted in Italy for subversion and armed gang activity and for his links to the right-wing terrorist organization "Terza posizione" (Third position).[1] He self-identifies as a neo-fascist.[2]
Mr Fiore told the Guardian he was "pleased the Charity Commission has found there has been nothing illegal". He said he was quite happy to be described as a fascist but he denied that Saint George promoted anti-semitic literature.
