Rookiez Is Punk'd (stylized as ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D) is punk rock and emo Japanese band.[1] The current lineup consists of vocalist and guitarist Shinnosuke, bassist Ryota and drummer U. Formed in 2006, they have made songs for popular anime, such as "Song for...", from Bleach.

Their first single, Compilation, had good sales ranking positions and was used as the opening for Durarara!!. Such partnership worked so well that the band worked with the creators of the anime to release their first album, Drrrookiez!! Rookiez Is Punk'd respect for DRRR!!, which contains the opening for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) game Durarara!! 3-way Standoff.[2]

They were also entrusted with the second opening of Blue Exorcist, called "In My World", and two openings for the anime Yowamushi Pedal, "Reclimb" and "Remind".[3][2]

In 2017, they played in Brazil for the first time at Super-Con, in Recife.[4] The following year, they came to the country again, this time in São Paulo opening for SPYAIR.[5]

In 2019, the band went into hiatus due to disagreements that halted their progress.[6][7] It lasted four years.[8] In 2024, the band returns to Brazil to perform at Anime Friends.[9][10]
