Rose Chan (18 April 1925^[1] – 26 May 1987) was a Chinese-born cabaret dancer turned "Queen of Striptease" in her adopted homeland of Malaysia.^[2] Her exploitation of her sexuality garnered her considerable controversy.^[4] Her philanthropy^[5] gained her the moniker the "Charity Queen".^[6]^[7]
