Saddle Butte Township is a township in Golden Valley County, North Dakota, United States.[2] Its population was 25 as of the 2010 census,[1][3] down from 27 in 2000.[5]

The township covers an area containing 35.278 square miles (91.37 km2) of land and 0.178 square miles (0.46 km2) water, and it is located at 47°01′16″N 103°58′34″W / 47.021142°N 103.976050°W / 47.021142; -103.976050.[1] The elevation is 2,707 feet (825 m).[2]

The township of Saddle Butte is located on the western border of the county and the state. It borders the following other townships in Golden Valley County:[6]

It is bordered to the north by Elmwood Unorganized Territory, formerly Elmwood Township.
