Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne (Municipality), formerly Sainte-Catherine (Parish Municipality), is located along the banks of the Sainte-Anne River, in the Capitale-Nationale region, Portneuf RCM, Quebec, Canada.[2]
The municipality has 601 inhabitants (2019), on a territory of just over 145 km2, divided between logging and agricultural land development.[5] Demonym: Auvergnat, ate (French).

Administratively, the municipality of the parish of Sainte-Christine, created in 1896, occupies a territory of 145 km², about twenty kilometers west of Saint-Raymond, between Saint-Alban and Saint-Léonard-de -Portneuf
.. Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne is recognized for its immense forests. The first settlers settled there and built, in 1894, the church which will become the only one in the regional territory to be built entirely of wood.
