Sakae (栄村, Sakae-mura) is a village located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 April 2019[update], the village had an estimated population of 1,828 in 817 households,[1] and a population density of 6.7 persons per km2. The total area of the village is 271.66 square kilometres (104.89 sq mi).
