Sakib (/sækɪb/ ; Arabic: ساكب pronounced [saːkb]), is a city in northwestern Jordan, administratively part of Jerash Governorate. The 2015 census recorded its population as 11,586.[1] The town is situated approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) west of the city of Jerash and 34 miles (55 km) from Amman city centre.[2]
