Sakuragawa (桜川市, Sakuragawa-shi) is a city located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 July 2020[update], the city had an estimated population of 39,072 in 13,721 households and a population density of 217 persons per km2. The percentage of the population aged over 65 was 34.3%.[1] The total area of the city is 180.06 square kilometres (69.52 sq mi).
