Sallisaw is a city and county seat in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, United States.[3] As of the 2020 Census, it had a population of 8,510, a 4.2 percent decrease over the figure of 8,880 recorded in 2010.[4] Sallisaw is part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas–Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area.
