Written alongside producer and frequent collaborator Sonny Digital, it was released on March 24, 2012 as the third single (and fourth overall) from his debut studio album Pluto. Following its release, the song peaked at number 92 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 12 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
