Not to be confused with Sam (Book of Mormon).
Samuel the Lamanite
A man with curled hair that meets with his thick beard holds his arms aloft. He wears a thick toga-like robe that covers his body from neck to shins. He stands on top of a parapeted wall. Behind him, a tree line is visible, as is the sky, though the time of day isn't clear. This man is Samuel.

According to the Book of Mormon, Samuel the Lamanite is a prophet who lived in the ancient Americas, sent by Jesus Christ around 5 BC to teach and warn the Nephites just before his birth in the Old World. The account is recorded in Helaman 13–16.
