San Quirico is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Sorano, province of Grosseto, in the tuff area of southern Maremma. At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 572.[1]
San Quirico is about 85 km from Grosseto and 5 km from Sorano, and it is situated along the Provincial Road which links Sorano to Casone. The village was born after the depopulation of the town of Vitozza, whose ruins lie next to San Quirico. It was formerly known as San Quirichino.[2]
