Sandy Powell OBE RDI (born 7 April 1960) is a British costume designer. In a career spanning over three decades, she is recognized for her prolific work across independent films and blockbusters. She has received numerous accolades, including three Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards, and two Costume Designers Guild Awards. Powell was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2011 New Year Honours for services to the film industry.

Powell gained prominence for her collaborations with directors Derek Jarman, Neil Jordan, Todd Haynes and Martin Scorsese.[2][3][4][5] She has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design fifteen times, winning three awards for Shakespeare in Love (1998), The Aviator (2004), and The Young Victoria (2009). She has also received sixteen nominations for the BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design, winning for Velvet Goldmine (1998), The Young Victoria, and The Favourite (2018).
