Sara Mustonen (born 8 February 1981) is a Swedish racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Women's Continental Team Chevalmeire Cycling Team.[5] Prior to becoming a cyclist she was a boxer. She took up cycle racing after working as a bicycle courier.[1] She competed in the women's road race at the 2008 Summer Olympics[6] and the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence.[7] Her father is Finnish.[8]
Cyclingnews reported in early June that three former Health Mate Ladies riders – Esther Miesels [sic], Sara Mustonen and the father of Chloë Turblin – separately filed complaints with the UCI Ethics Commission reporting abuses against Van Gansen.
