Sarah M.H. Nouwen is an academic in the areas of international law of peacemaking and justice.[1] She is a Professor of International Law at the European University Institute, Florence, Italy, in the Department of Law, on leave as Professor in International Law and Fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Pembroke College, Cambridge.[2] She is also an editor-in-chief of the European Journal of International Law.[2][3]
