Saranac is a town in Clinton County, New York, United States. The town is on the western border of the county, west of Plattsburgh, and is within the Adirondack Park. The population was 3,852 at the 2020 census,[3] down from 4,007 at the 2010 census.[4] The town is named for the Saranac River that flows through the town.
