Sayaka Yamamoto (山本 彩, Yamamoto Sayaka, born July 14, 1993) is a Japanese singer and songwriter signed to Universal Sigma. She is a former member of the girl group NMB48, where she served as captain of both the whole group as well as Team N, and a former concurrent member of AKB48's Team K.[1][2][3] She made her debut as a solo artist in October 2016 with her first studio album "Rainbow" while she was still in NMB48, and her releases regularly place in the top ten of the Oricon weekly charts.[4]
