Sean Declan Conrad Barrett (born 1944) is an Irish economist and former senator.[1] He was a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics of Trinity College Dublin,[2] and a Fellow of the college. In April 2011, he was elected to the Dublin University constituency of Seanad Éireann but narrowly lost his seat in 2016. In 2018 he was elected a Pro-Chancellor of the University of Dublin.
