The health insurance cards are being distributed to the beneficiaries free of charge.[9] As per a November 2023 report conducted by the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), the program has enrolled 43 million families by covering a 190 million population of the country. While over 14.6 million have used health facility in empanel hospitals.[6]
