Seversky District (Russian: Се́верский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Seversky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 2,122 square kilometers (819 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Severskaya.[1] Population: 112,942 (2010 Census);[3] 107,661 (2002 Census);[7] 96,015 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Severskaya accounts for 22.0% of the district's total population.[3]
