Shaandaar (transl. Magnificent) is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles,[2] with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles.[3] Principal photography began in August 2014 in Leeds,[4] and the film was released on 22 October 2015. The film received highly negative reviews[5] and became a box-office bomb.[6][7]

Shaandaar marks Shahid Kapoor's first on-screen collaboration with his father, Pankaj Kapur, and sister, Sanah Kapur, who portray Bhatt's father and sister, respectively.
