Shadaa (transl. Bachelor) is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language romantic comedy[3] film written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, and co-produced by A & A Advisors and Brat Films. The film starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, follows the story of an average man looking for a bride and what happens when he finally marries a girl who thinks marriage is beautiful.[4] Shadaa also features Hardeep Gill, Anita Devgn, and Jagjeet Sandhu in supporting roles.

Principal photography of the film began on 30 September 2018[5] and completed on 8 May 2019.[6] The music rights of the film are with Zee Music Company. Soundtrack of the film was composed by Nick Dhammu, JSL Singh, and V Rakx Music, which features vocals from Dosanjh, Raj Ranjodh, and Shipra Goyal.

The film was theatrical released worldwide on 21 June 2019.[1] The film was opened to positive response by critics. Shaada grossed 31 million (US$370,000) on its opening day and 108.9 million (US$1.3 million) in its opening weekend domestically, making the all-time opening records in Punjabi cinema. As of 4 August 2019, the film has grossed 527.5 million (US$6.3 million) globally, making it sixth highest-grossing Punjabi film of all time.
