Shamil Anvyarovich Tarpishchev or Tarpischev[a] (Russian: Шамиль Анвярович Тарпищев, IPA: [ʂɐˈmʲilʲ ɐnˈvʲarəvʲɪtɕ tɐrˈpʲiɕːɪf], Tatar: Шамил Әнвәр улы Тарпищев, romanized: Şamil Änvär ulı Tarpişev; born 7 March 1948)[6] is a Russian tennis coach and former player. In 1994, he became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).[7]
