Shane Robert Bieber (born May 31, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians/Guardians. As a walk-on, he played college baseball for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos baseball team. The Indians drafted him in the fourth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. Bieber made his MLB debut with Cleveland in 2018, was named an All-Star in 2019 and 2021, and received the American League's 2020 Cy Young Award.
