Sharon H. Venne

Sharon H. Venne (masko-nôcokwêsiw manitoukan) is a Cree woman from Treaty 6 in Saskatchewan.[1][2][3] She is originally from the Muskeg Lake Cree First Nation in Saskatchewan.[4] Her publications have been used to write the clauses found in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples[5] and she has worked to secure a United Nations study on Treaties.[6]
