Jacob Shmuel Boteach[3] (born November 19, 1966),[4] known as Shmuley Boteach, is an American rabbi, author, and media host.

He is the author of 31 books, including the best-seller Kosher Sex: A Recipe for Passion and Intimacy (1999) and Kosher Jesus (2012).[5][6][7]

He hosted two seasons of the reality television series Shalom in the Home on TLC.[8]

Newsweek named him one of the 10 most influential rabbis in the United States, and The Jerusalem Post named him one of the fifty most influential rabbis in the world.[9][10][11]
