American Orthodox rabbi and writer (born 1966)
Jacob Shmuel Boteach [ 3] (born November 19, 1966),[ 4] known as Shmuley Boteach , is an American rabbi , author, and media host.
He is the author of 31 books, including the best-seller Kosher Sex: A Recipe for Passion and Intimacy (1999) and Kosher Jesus (2012).[ 5] [ 6] [ 7]
He hosted two seasons of the reality television series Shalom in the Home on TLC .[ 8]
Newsweek named him one of the 10 most influential rabbis in the United States, and The Jerusalem Post named him one of the fifty most influential rabbis in the world.[ 9] [ 10] [ 11]
