Shoals is a town in Center and Halbert townships and the county seat of Martin County,[5] in the U.S. state of Indiana.[6] The population was 677 at the 2020 census.[3]
Shoals is best known for the Jug Rock, the only free-standing table rock formation east of the Mississippi River.[7]
