Sihora is a town and a municipality in Jabalpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Sihora is located at 23°29′N 80°07′E / 23.48°N 80.12°E.[1] The first cooperative society in Madhya Pradesh state was established in Sihora block of Jabalpur district in 1904.
Sihora was a princely state and ruled by Koli chieftains.[2] The rulers of Sihora were direct descendants of the Koli chief Bapuji Makwana.[3]
