Simon James Gaskell (born 2 May 1950)[1] is the previous president and principal of Queen Mary University of London, and current chair of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education[2][3] and chair of the board of governors of the University of Plymouth. He previously served as the vice-president for research at the University of Manchester.[3]
