Sinja Kraus (born 29 April 2002) is an Austrian tennis player.
Kraus has career-high WTA rankings of 151 in singles, achieved in May 2023, and 303 in doubles, attained in December 2023. She reached a career-high ITF juniors ranking of world No. 87, on 21 January 2019.
Kraus also won a bronze medal at the 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Győr.[1]
She represents Austria in the Billie Jean King Cup and made her debut in 2020, when she partnered Melanie Klaffner in the (then Fed Cup) tie against Italy, losing to Giulia Gatto-Monticone and Martina Trevisan.[2][3]
As a qualifier, Kraus defeated eighth seed Nadia Podoroska to reach the second round at the WTA 125 2023 Bogota Open,[4] where she lost to Nuria Brancaccio.[5]
