Skerne Park is a predominantly council owned housing estate in the southern part of the borough of Darlington[1] and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated on the southern edge of Darlington. Skerne Park comprises streets named after well-known British rivers, such as Tweed Place, Severn Way and Tyne Crescent, partly because the estate is built near the River Skerne. In Skerne Park, there is a Londis Newsagent Store, a Post Office and A Kebab House, there is also a popular primary school serving the local area.
