Somm is a 2012 American documentary following the attempts of four candidates to pass the extremely difficult Master Sommelier examination, a test with one of the lowest pass rates in the world.[2] Directed by Jason Wise, a sequel, Somm: Into the Bottle, was released in 2015 and a third film, Somm 3, came out in October 2018.[3] A TV series based on the movie launched on the Esquire Network in November 2015.[4] In 2019, SOMM TV was launched by creator Jason Wise with original shows.[5]
