South Extension or New Delhi South Extension (NDSE) is a neighbourhood of South Delhi, India.[1][2] It is also described as a premier shopping destination.[3] Situated on the Ring Road, Delhi, just east of All India Institute of Medical Sciences.[1][2] The colony is divided into two parts - South Extension I and South Extension II.[1] It has a population of about 50,000 people in South Extension Part 1[4] and 27,000 in South Extension Part 2.[5]
A Delhi Metro station as part of Metro's Phase III extension has started commercial operations from 6 August 2018.
