South Philipsburg is a census-designated place (CDP), formerly a borough, located in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 410 at the 2010 census.[1] As of January 1, 2007, the borough government was dissolved and the area reverted to Rush Township.[2]
