Spotswood railway station is a commuter railway station on the Werribee and Williamstown lines, which are part of the Melbourne railway network. It serves the western suburb of Spotswood, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Spotswood station is a ground level unstaffed station, featuring two side platforms. It opened on 1 December 1878.[4][5]

Initially opened as Edom, the station was renamed three times. It was renamed to Bayswater on 1 September 1881, then renamed to Spottiswoode on 1 October of that year, then was given its current name of Spotswood on 1 August 1905.[5]
