Stede Broec (Dutch: [ˌsteːdə ˈbruk] ; West Frisian Dutch: Stee Broek) is a municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia. The name Stede Broec derives from stede (meaning city) and broec (meaning swamp).
