Sukanya (born 25 November 1972[1]) is an Indian actress who mainly worked in Tamil films and Malayalam films, in addition to Kannada and Telugu films. Apart from acting Sukanya is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, music composer, lyricist and voice actress. She was one of the leading Tamil actresses in the 1990s.[2]
