Sumiteru Taniguchi (谷口 稜曄, Taniguchi Sumiteru, 26 January 1929 – 30 August 2017) was a survivor of the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki, a prominent activist for a treaty prohibiting nuclear weapons, and chairman of the Nagasaki Council of A-Bomb Sufferers.[1][2]
