Sumitra Singh (born 3 May 1930) is an veteran Indian politician and senior Jat leader from the Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. She was the first woman Speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She was elected as member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for nine terms, out of which in three terms she represented Pilani constituency while she represented Jhunjhunu constituency for six terms. She is one of the most successful woman politicians of Rajasthan state.[1][2][3][4]
