Sunyani is a city and the capital of the Sunyani Municipal District and the Bono Region of Ghana.[2][3] Sunyani had a population of 1,208,649 at the 2021 population and housing census.[4] The city consists mainly of the Bonos, Akans other tribes.[5][6]
