Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz[a] is a platform game developed and published by Sega, the seventh title in the Super Monkey Ball series, following Super Monkey Ball Adventure.[2] It was released as a launch title for the Wii system on November 19, 2006, in North America, December 7 in Australia and December 8 in Europe.

An HD remake, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD,[b] was released worldwide on October 29, 2019, for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in December for Windows via Steam.[3] The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions were also released in Japan on October 31.[4]
