Swinderby is a village and civil parish in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The village is situated just north of the A46 road,[1] 8 miles (13 km) south-west from Lincoln and 6 miles (10 km) north-east from Newark. Swinderby lies within a rural agricultural community and covers an area of 2,200 acres (9 km2). Village population is 773, reducing to 648 (including Morton Hall) at the 2011 census.[2]
