Szlachcin [ˈʂlaxt͡ɕin], formerly Slachcin (1906-1919) and Adelstätt (1943-1945), is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Środa Wielkopolska, within Środa Wielkopolska County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[2] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Środa Wielkopolska and 38 km (24 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
