T. Velmurugan is an Indian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Pattali Makkal Katchi candidate from Panruti constituency in the 2001 and 2006 elections. He is considered to be a Tamil nationalist. He is the founder of Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) party.^[1]
