Thomas Tekanapu Rawakata Perenara (born 23 January 1992), commonly known as TJ Perenara, is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays Halfback or First Five-Eighth for Wellington in the Bunnings NPC and New Zealand's national team, the All Blacks, winning the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He was part of the New Zealand under 20 rugby team that won the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship in Italy.

Perenara is currently the most capped Hurricane of all time.[1] Perenara made his international debut for New Zealand in 2014 and has since played more than 80 tests for his country, having attended both the 2015 Rugby World Cup and 2019 Rugby World Cup during his international career.
