Tadeusz Józef Sulimirski[1] (1 April 1898 – 20 June 1983) was a Polish-born British[1] historian and archaeologist, who emigrated to the United Kingdom soon after the outbreak of World War II in 1939. Sulimirski was a pioneer and leading expert in the study of the archaeology of steppe nomads, particularly the Cimmerians, Scythians and Sarmatians.
